Nos complace anunciar que pronto se estrena la segunda edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Surf de Tamarindo, presentado por Senderos & Christie’s Costa Rica. El evento tendrá lugar el 24 y 25 de marzo 2023 a las 5PM en TRIO.
Este festival promete ser una plétora de películas de surf premiadas que se proyectarán en una pantalla de cine LED gigante de última generación y un sistema de sonido de alta calidad.
Nuestra comunidad multicultural disfrutará de buena comida, tiendas pop up y música en vivo cada noche, presentado por el grupo musical Pascal Trío, la banda Meant to Be y DJ Kanadian Tuxedo. ¡!Cada noche con su boleto de entrada podrán participar en la rifa de un excelente Premio. Una tabla de surf nueva donada generosamente por Cheboards.
El 100% de los fondos recaudados se destinarán a la asociación CEPIA https://cepiacostarica.org/es/ . El festival está declarado de interés cultural por el Ministerio de Cultura y tiene la marca país “ESENCIAL Costa Rica”.
Todas las películas presentadas durante el festival son películas premiadas y fueron recibidas gracias al apoyo del Festival de Cine de Surf de Florida en EEUU.
Algunas de las películas son en inglés sin subtítulos, otras con subtítulos y el sábado la película principal African Territory de los cineastas Gauchos Del Mar, está en español, con subtítulos en inglés.

Tamarindo International Surf Film Festival

We are pleased to announce that the Second Edition of the Tamarindo International Surf Film Festival, presented by Senderos & Christie's Costa Rica, will be premiering soon. The event will take place on March 24 and 25, 2023 at 5PM each night at TRIO in Playa Tamarindo.
This festival promises to be a plethora of award-winning surf movies which will be screened on a giant state-of-the-art LED Cinema Screen with a high-quality sound system. Our multi-cultural community will enjoy great food, pop-up shops, and live music each night. Music will be performed by the Pascal Trio, the band Meant to Be and DJ Kanadian Tuxedo. Each entrance ticket gives you a chance at our Raffle drawing each night with the Grand Prize each night of a surfboard generously donated by Cheboards.
100% of the funds raised go to CEPIA https://cepiacostarica.org . The festival is declared an Event Of Cultural Interest by the Minister of Culture and has the country brand "COSTA RICA ESSENTIAL".
All of the films screened during the Festival are multiple award-winning movies and were received with the generous support of the Florida Surf Film Festival. Several of the movies are in English without subtitles, some are in English with sub-titles and on Saturday night the feature film African Territory from filmmakers Gauchos Del Mar, is in Spanish, with English subtitles.
